一场突如其来的地震侵袭了坐落在王都阿瑟利亚西南边的商业街卡尔德斯塔，随之而产生的裂谷则将城镇一分为二，而裂谷中则出现了一座神秘的遗迹。不久后，听闻遗迹中埋藏着宝藏的冒险者们便纷纷来到了卡尔德斯塔，前赴后继进入遗迹开始寻宝。然而很快，一种怪病便感染了前来寻宝的冒险者，并迅速传播开来。消息传开后，王都魔法师公会随即派出了学徒玛洁塔诺前去卡尔德斯塔进行调查。玛洁塔诺在冒险中到底会发现些什么？在《库贝尔的枷锁》中找出这个问题的答案吧。
